![]() ![]() ![]() They didn't have the preferred mountain view, but it was decent as it looked out the front of the hotel. Rooms: Our rooms were decent, though neither had a desk (despite there being ample room for one). I guess I can understand the need to rent the courts as otherwise players might never leave, but the whole combo seemed excessive on top of the resort fee. It irked me a little that there was an additional cost (and not a small cost btw) to use the tennis courts and rackets while also making you purchase tennis balls (that is, unless you have your own). Resort Fee: Particularly as someone who doesn't care to partake in the valet service and gets free internet anyway, I find this a simple padding of the cost of the stay. We regretted not trying the food at the golf course as the menu looked great and was a less expensive option. We had a couple of meals at the other restaurant (Tavern), which were good, but overpriced by 25%. Perhaps they are too used to guests trying to get something for nothing, but it was still a little awkward.įood: Our dinner at the Chop House was very good. I would have rather not stood there for 5 minutes while she researched the quality of my request. When I requested credit for the third night, I had to wait at the counter for a little while so that the counter person could research which rooms were cleaned on a particular day. I did that for three of the five nights, but only received certs for two of them. One interesting engagement was when I went to the front desk to redeem my 500 point 'green certificates' for passing on maid service. There were a couple of folks at the restaurant who by the end of the trip recognized us and called us by name. Service: I can't put my finger on it, but even though there were no acute issues this trip, I still felt somewhat underwhelmed at the service level. The upgrade I received was to two semi-adjoining rooms. I used a smattering of FRN, points and C&P to get two rooms. Please contact the resort for more information.
